Tendaba Camp

Tendaba Camp is based at the lower river region, it is the bird paradise of the Gambia. At Tendaba camp you can be able to explore different activity's as a amazing boattrip trough the mangrove. In the mangrove you can spot different species of birds, crocodiles, dolphines and fish. 
 

Next to Tendaba Camp you are able to have a bush safari at Kiang West park. At Kiang West park you can be able to spot out the native animals of the Gambia, as Hyena, bushpig, antilope, baboon and different birds. 

Tendaba Camp is a simple base camp. The local huts are provided with a double bed with mosquito net, bathroom with shower and toilet. 
At the camp you find a small pool to have a morning wake up swim or to cool down in the afternoon. 

In the evening you can enjoy the typical Gambian buffet with local dishes and relax at the meeting point. 

Tendaba Camp is also possible to visit during the full up- country tour.
